Personal accident and dental cover
Horse riding can be a risky pursuit so taking out our personal accident and dental cover with your horse insurance is always a good idea. The benefit of this additional feature is it will help you should you suffer a horse riding accident. Included is a payment on death of £20,000 with the same applied in a case of permanent total disablement. Should a horse riding accident result in the loss of an eye or limb yo will receive payment of £20,000. In addition there is also £1,000 of dental treatment cover.
Different classes of insurance for horses
Our insurance for horses is provided in two different classes of cover. This ensures you get the most competitive horse insurance quote dependant on how you wish to use your horse.
Class A horse insurance cover
Class A horse insurance covers non working horses, providing you with hacking insurance and dressage insurance. Please note this does not cover cross country and trials
Class B horse insurance cover
Class B horse insurance provides covers for non working horses with the addition of insurance for working horses. Class B cover provides you with hunting insurance, pony club insurance, cross country/trials cover and heavy horses insurance
Vet cover
Continuing with our flexible approach to horse insurance we can offer three levels of vet fee cover.
Cover I: £3,000 in any one period of insurance - £95 excess
Cover II: £5,000 arising from any one accident with a maximum of £10,000 in any one period of cover - £125 excess
Cover III: The same as cover II with a higher excess of £500 but with a lower premium
